The Iraqi league for medicine producers is a non-profit organization whose members are national factories. It began its activity in 2001 and then obtained its founding license in 2014. The association includes more than 25 factories that produce medicines and medical supplies. The association seeks to raise the rate of production of medicines and medical supplies with high production efficiency to meet local needs. The league adopts the association member plans to expand the number of national factories for medical materials from various sectors by establishing partnerships between the public and private sectors and seeking international expertise to strengthen the health sector in Iraq.
